Objective
The BIT Programme provides comprehensive support to SMEs through training, guidance, advisory services, and financing facilities to help develop businesses with the potential to be expanded through the franchise system.
Eligibility Criteria for BIT Pre-Franchisor Financing Application
Businesses:
- Shariah-compliant businesses that is registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM);
- Local trademark is registered with Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO);
- Has a profitable business record, is viable, and has been in operation for at least one (1) year; and
- Company is interested in growing business through the franchising platform.
Owners:
- Is at least 21 years of age;
- Applicant companies, business owners, and shareholders must be in good credit standing and have not been declared bankrupt.
Eligibility Criteria for BIT Pre-Franchisee Financing Application
- Applicant is at least 21 years of age;
- Applicant is the manager of the business;
- Applications must be done through companies and businesses registered with SSM or PBT;
- 100% of applications must be from companies or businesses owned by bumiputera;
- Applicant must obtain licensing offer letter from the BIT Pre-Franchisee;
- Applicant, business owners, and shareholders must be in good credit standing and have not been declared bankrupt.

Eligibility Criteria to Join the BIT Programme
Businesses:
- Shariah-compliant businesses that is registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM);
- Local trademark is registered with Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO);
- Has a profitable business record, is viable, and has been in operation for at least one (1) year;
- Must be free from ongoing criminal charges as well as blacklisting from law enforcement agencies;
- Has the potential to grow into the direction of a franchising business.
Applicants, Owners, and Shareholders:
- Is at least 21 years of age;
- Must be free from ongoing criminal charges as well as blacklisting from law enforcement agencies.
