Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before submitting the Google form via the BYOB Project on the website operated by Pernas.
Your participation in the BYOB Project is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These terms apply to all participants, trainees, and applicants.
By being part of this Project, you hereby agree to be bound by these Terms:
- The BYOB Project is an initiative by Pernas to provide a holistic and competitive entrepreneurship programme.
- BThe BYOB Project offers the opportunity for women and youths, as individuals or companies, to participate in the Young Entrepreneurship Engagement Talent Programme (“YOUNITY”) or Successful Women Entrepreneurship Engagement Talent Programme (“SWEET”).
a. Applicants who wish to register under the YOUNITY Programme must be Bumiputera between the ages of 21 years and 40 years. The major shareholder(s) must be youth and hold a minimum of 60% shares in the Company.
b. Applicants who wish to register under the SWEET Programme must be Bumiputera between the ages of 21 years and 60 years. The major shareholder(s) must be women and hold a minimum of 60% shares in the Company. - The BYOB Project is valid from February 2021 until further notice.
- BYOB Project is only valid in Malaysia. Applicants outside of Malaysia will not be considered for this Project.
- Applicants who wish to participate in the BYOB Project must register via the SWEET/YOUNITY Google Form.
- Registration is open to applicants who have secured Letters of Offer from the franchisor/licensor or pre-franchisor.
- The applicant who has secured Letter of Offer from the franchisor/licensor or pre-franchisor will be given the opportunity to apply for financing
from Pernas subject to terms and conditions determined by Pernas. - The applicant whose financing application is not approved by Pernas will not be penalised.
- The applicant must have at least six (6) months of experience in online or offline business
- The applicant must provide proof of capital readiness of a minimum of 30% of the project cost.
- Pernas may need to disclose the applicant’s personal data to other entities within Pernas and other related external parties to process this application and thereafter to perform the contractual agreements between the applicant and any entity within Pernas. The related external parties Pernas may disclose the personal data to may include but are not limited to:
a. Governmental and regulatory bodies such as Bank Negara Malaysia and Securities Commission Malaysia;
b. Pernas’ business strategic partners;
c. Agents and/or outsourcing vendors.These related external parties may locate, store, maintain, and/or process the applicant’s personal data within or outside of Malaysia. - Under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010, Pernas is required to obtain the applicant’s explicit consent to collect and process the participant’s their personal data. Pernas collects personal data in order to assess their application and administer the Project that they have signed up for
